to RavensHome
RavensHome, founded by Pamela Wagner
and Jonathan Shuve, was established to promote the renaissance of the oral
tradition of storytelling.
Our Vision
To nurture a culture that embraces storytelling as a path to greater
social and environmental interconnectedness, and as a means to personal
self-discovery.
Our Mission
To provide a supportive environment to others through workshops,
performances, and other story-based events, so that they might experience
the empowering, enlightening, and liberating nature of storytelling.
Pamela Wagner
Pamela has been a storyteller during her many years with the Hamilton
Public Library. She has built up a repertoire of tales for all ages,
emphasizing social justice issues. She tells folk and fairy tales from
many lands, as well as original tales written alone or with Jonathan
Shuve. Pamela spreads magic through her performances and through
story-based workshops and events.
Jonathan Shuve
Jonathan is a gifted storyteller who is equally at home in corporate,
educational, and spiritual environments. He is passionate in promoting
Tolkien's vision that Story holds "the sun, the moon, the sky, the
earth, and all things that are in it." Alone or with Pamela Wagner,
he tells and creates stories that bring alive this wider world.
